Temporal Brow Lift
Eyebrow lift
Today, many men and women are looking for new ways to maintain a youthful appearance and add aesthetic beauty to their faces. However, as you age, these less invasive non-surgical treatments may not be enough to get rid of the problems of heavy brows and drooping corners of the eyebrows and eyes. For these patients, the best way to correct lateral brow droop may be a temporal brow lift. Unlike a traditional brow lift or endoscopic brow lift, a temporal brow lift does not raise the central brow and eyebrows. Instead, it curves the eyebrows at the outer corner. This prevents the eyes from opening too much or looking surprised (Mephisto effect). It is also an ideal treatment for people who want a more straight, classic brow, even if they are younger and have not yet experienced the signs of aging.

What is a temporal brow lift?
- A temporal brow lift is also known as a side brow lift, mini brow lift, and mini brow lift. It is a surgical procedure that is less invasive than a typical eyebrow lift. It has only one small incision hidden in the hair, so the recovery time is a few days.
- The effects of a temporal brow lift can be achieved through small, invisible incisions that are hidden in the hairline. A temple lift is often used along with blepharoplasty, also known as blepharoplasty, which is a procedure to improve the appearance of the eyelids and eyes. In addition, it can complement the effects of Botox and other filler treatments, as they can remove deeper lines in the middle of the forehead and eyebrows.
- While a temporal area lift is less invasive than an eyebrow lift, it still requires incisions. The exact length and type of incisions will depend on the patient's needs and the extent of the lift. In most cases, the incisions are hidden at least one centimeter behind the hairline.
- Because only two small incisions are made in this type of surgery on either side of the head, it is often performed under local anesthesia.

Temporal eyebrow lift
What is the difference between a temporal eyebrow lift and a classic eyebrow lift?
Although they treat the same area of the face, a temple lift is very different from an eyebrow lift. Also known as a brow lift, an eyebrow lift is a more invasive surgery that lifts the entire forehead. This procedure helps to get rid of the more visible signs of aging such as eyebrow wrinkles, forehead wrinkles and deep furrows between the eyebrows. In contrast, a temple lift lifts only the sides of the face and the forehead. It does not affect the center of the forehead or the area between the eyebrows in any way.
Despite its subtle and minimally invasive approach, a temple lift can have a very pronounced effect on your facial features and appearance. In addition to removing fine lines, patients often notice that their eyes look more open, feline. This treatment can lift and give the eyebrows a more pleasant and youthful appearance.
Who should consider a temporal brow lift?
Although it is a minimally invasive procedure, a mini brow lift is not suitable for everyone.
This treatment is indicated for men and women who have drooping eyebrows, temples or drooping eye corners. People who have used other aesthetic treatments can also benefit from this type of treatment.
How is a temporal brow lift performed?
The procedure begins with a local anesthetic in both temples, just behind the hairline where the incisions will be made. He will then make two very small, hidden incisions. One on each side just past the hairline. This will ensure that the scar will not be visible afterwards.
Then the underlying tissues are pulled up. This removes wrinkles and fine lines from within. Smoothes and lifts the side parts of the face. Excess skin is then trimmed and the incision closed with small sutures.
Most people feel sore after the anesthetic injections wear off. They may also have minor bruising and swelling. They usually disappear within a few days and do not require long breaks from work or other obligations. The sutures are removed about 7 days after the procedure.
